ByNorvik ("we", "us") is run by Norvik, a photographer based in Sydney, Australia. This policy explains what personal information we collect through bynorvik.com, how we use it and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

  • Orders: your name, email address, billing details and what you bought, so we can deliver your download and keep business records.
  • Payments: card payments are processed by our payment providers (such as Squarespace Payments, Stripe or PayPal). We never see or store your full card number.
  • Mailing list: your email address if you join the list, so we can send new presets, prints and offers.
  • Contact form: your name, email and message when you get in touch.
  • Website data: basic analytics and cookies, such as pages visited, device type and approximate location, to understand how the site is used.

How we use it

  • To process orders, send download links and order emails, and provide support.
  • To reply to your messages and booking enquiries.
  • To send marketing emails if you have subscribed. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
  • To improve the website and measure our advertising, including on platforms like Instagram and Facebook.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Only with services that help us run the shop: our website and email platform (Squarespace), payment providers, and analytics or advertising tools. Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States. We share only what is needed for them to do their job.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, and understand site traffic. You can manage cookies through the cookie banner or your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as needed for tax and legal reasons, and mailing list details until you unsubscribe.

  • You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it.
